Reading is still fundamental. It is still so important for students to put their hands on interesting reading material. this is especially true in 2nd grade when students are not just "learning to read," but are "reading to learn." Students are getting information from various materials and broadening their knowledge. I look forward to exposing them to different forms of media to promote high interest and current information through Scholastic News. Please support my students in becoming the best possible readers.
