My students are in 3rd grade. My students are loving and energetic, and they love to learn. My students live in a struggling urban neighborhood in Pennsylvania. The public elementary school that they attend serves 450 students. Over 85% of the student population falls below the poverty level. Therefore, my students are eligible to receive a free lunch from the school. My students need to be exposed to as many different educational opportunities as possible to help close the achievement gap and make them successful.
