Kinesthetic and Tactile materials that will be used in my centers and on the playground for those students who lose interest quickly. It is very important that we provide our students with a wide variety of materials/tools that will give them a foundation to be and feel successful in school. I have included a variety of materials to reach the different type of learners. Skills come alive as children engage in games, manipulatives, and hands-on activities that they can explore, discover, and experiment for active learning. Kinesthetic and Tactile learners will focus easier if they have a variety of objects to manipulate instead of doing pencil and paper work.
These materials will be used in the classroom in learning centers and on the playground. Children need to apply skills to learn them. Games and manipulatives hook the children into learning as they have fun. These materials will give them the opportunity for individual skill development as well as interaction with other peers,
