Our school is located in a high poverty community. My 6th grade students are terrific kids who love learning and school. They are part of a large middle school, grades 6-8. There are many needs and not much money left over for classroom libraries. Many of our students live in homes with multiple families with little space and few resources. Books are often times a luxury.
