The Dynamic Dolphins is a group of students in 4th and 5th grade that play in an Orff xylophone ensemble. The legacy of Dynamic began when what started as an extension of a lesson became a year-long program that has grown to well over 25 students. The Dynamic Dolphins has earned the reputation of being an "amazing group of young musicians" that delivers an extraordinary brilliance to a set of classroom instruments. DD's talent has taken them to the White House, Georgia's State Capitol, Sweet Auburn Music Festival, Congressman Johnson's Congressional Art Competition, Christmas On Peachtree ( GA) (our) Chamber of Commerce luncheon, the Board of Education's State of the System address and to several other events in the community. They have also been featured on several local television stations and have recorded popular videos that are now on YouTube. These students attend a Title One school here in Ga where 96% of our population is on free and reduced lunch.
