My students are part of the Life Skills Program located at my school. This program is designed for students with Intellectual Impairments or Developmental Delays. Many of my students also present with multiple disabilities, and many have health issues. We work on functional academics, daily living skills, communication skills, and vocational skills which are all guided by the Curriculum Frameworks. We also use the Unique Learning System and students participate in community/vocational opportunities to generalize their skills. Many of my students also require supports from related service providers (i.e Speech and Language, P.T., O.T., Vision, and Adapted Physical Education).
