These material will help keep the children engaged and excited about learning. Preschool is a time for children to learn through play and to do this I want to provide as many different learning materials as possible. With a limited budget these materials are a wish that I hope to have fulfilled for my 16 preschoolers to use this year and students the following years.
With your help I hope to purchase magnetic numbers and letters to help children recognize numbers and associate numbers to quantity and with the letters help with letter recognition and letter sounds. The Ramps and Balls exploration set will be used to help extend the buildings unit and encourage the children to explore force and motion. Children in low income families are more likely to be behind in both math and literacy when they reach kindergarten and with these materials I am hoping to change that.
