I teach at a grades 6-8 building in North Central Indiana. We are a 1 to 1 technology school where we try to incorporate new innovative ideas with technology into our curriculum. Our school has about an 50-60% free lunch rate. We have about 175 students per grade level, of which I have all 175 students in my math class. Our students have been using traditional math text book sequencing series where they do a lesson every day. By the end of their math education our students are burnt out and disinterested in math. It is my goal to turn the students back on to math by being creative, innovative, and inspiring my students to think and love math.
