My students have a desire to learn but many obstacles get in their way. While I cannot control what happens outside of school, I can control how they feel in my class. My students have limited technology resources but would benefit greatly from them. My students struggle with communication, fine motor, and gross motor skills. They love to read and make text-to-world connections. They love playing strategic math games to gain skills in rule following and mental math. They desire to learn vocational and independent living skills in order to be successful adults.
With your donation, there are endless possibilities of what students with disabilities can achieve! All students have needs, and they have a right to have their needs met. By making these tools available to all of my students, they will be able to break barriers and achieve more!
