Research shows that the use of technology in the classroom is known to engage students and boost participation. This project will reach students of all levels across multiple classes. The portability of the laptops will allow them to be used by students in my on-level science, target science, yearbook, and academic prep classes. The access to technology will be invaluable to these students who have very limited use of such tools in their education. By using the laptops for daily assignments, projects, research, and design, students will be able to build on 21st century skills that are essential to be a member of today's workforce.
