I have been a New York City public school teacher for over sixteen years. Currently teaching Math to 3rd grade students. Our school is a small school serving only two classes per grade from kindergarten to fifth grade. My students are eager to learn and excited about school everyday despite the ever growing challenges facing their community. The school is located in an area of the Bronx in which low-income families make up at least 40 percent of enrollment As a growing school we are in need of your support to help us get our hands and the materials that will make our students ready for success.
