I teach kindergarten through fifth grade Art at Sampit Elementary School. Sampit is a Title 1 School in rural Georgetown County. Student diversity ranges in many different races and cultures. Our classroom is a very nice size and has access to two sinks, a storage room for supplies and materials, and the kiln room. My students love coming to the art room and love creating artwork. Any opportunity to experiment and explore with new materials gives our students the capability of creating and learning new things as well as problem-solving skills.
