This field trip will help my students physically see and experience what they are learning in class. It will give them a true reference of what Dale Chihuly's artwork looks like, its size and scale, and a deeper understanding of his style. I want my students to be able to see his artwork in person and to tour Biltmore Estate. Experiencing Biltmore is a once in a lifetime opportunity to some of my students because of the economical turmoil in our county. The student will be able to take a tour of the grounds and see Chihuly's artwork in the gardens. They will also be able to tour the Biltmore house and learn about the history of the Vanderbilt family.
