My students range from academically advanced to academically challenged, and everything in between. They come from economically disadvantaged families and attend a public high school in California. They are a very diverse group of students who have learned to cross racial and social boundaries and come together to work as a team. They study Environmental Science and Green Urban Design, and have taken ownership of leading the school and teaching their peers about sustainable living.
