As a whole, the school is considered low-middle class. We are a Title I school with more than half the student body receiving free and reduced lunch rates. My class is made up of 18 students: 11 boys and 7 girls. The children in my class come from diverse backgrounds, including students whose first language is not English, students who receive special education services, and students below poverty.
They may be young, but they love to be challenged each and every day.
