This is our school motto. My students are an adorable group of third graders with similar backgrounds. The majority of them are second language learners that come from underprivileged homes. And while we try to meet all their needs here at school, many times their needs are not all met.
Last summer I shared with them my experience with a training I had attended. They were inspired with my goal of reading improvement and have since made every effort to read, read, read. My students are hard workers. They love reading, writing, and learning. And I know they will love these books.
