My school is located between two housing developments. A large percentage of the school's population come from low income homes where parents are struggling to support their families. The economic hardships that these families are faced with have an effect on my students and their learning experiences.
I try to constantly make students excited about learning, and try to differentiate instruction to match a variety of learning styles and student interests. I am also constantly trying to expose them to things they might not experience on a regular basis. To accomplish this we need assistance.
