I teach in an inner city public school in Massachusetts serving 501 students in grades PK-4. The Department of Education statistics show that 78% of our population have high needs and that 65% of our families are economically disadvantaged. This school is among the lowest performing schools in the state. During a state inspection, the staff got high marks for positive interaction with the students and has been awarded a Level 3 Turnaround Grant. Our motto is Dream, Believe, Achieve!
