My name is Caitlyn Stewart and I have the pleasure of teaching children with complex support needs in a kindergarten to second grade Multiple Disabilities Support Classroom in the School District of Philadelphia. My students all have more than one disability affecting their capacity to be taught in a regular education classroom including cognitive delays including intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, Autism, speech and language impairments, and/or hearing and vision impairments. These students are exceptionally bright, if you give them the right tools for success. My job is to provide them with the right amount of modification to allow them to thrive. My classroom is kept small to allow the children the individualized instruction necessary for them to succeed. Each and every child can exceed your expectations!
