This Chromebook would be used with my students who have autism, and it would all them to access the curriculum and speech applications to facilitate learning and communication. Some of my students are nonverbal and have challenges communicating their wants and needs. With this device, I can download software that will open communication. Additionally, some students have poor motor skills. With this device, students can type lectures and not be interrupted or feel anxious. This will avoid behavior issues and open the roads to a positive learning environment. Another way students will use this device is to access the curriculum. As mandated by our county, students are required to use i-ready weekly.
