Velcro, pencil grips, Brain Quest and reading rulers are a few examples of supplies that help my kiddos access the general education curriculum. These items are small, but make a big difference in their day! Many more items that are similar are also helpful, but these are the ones we are in need of at the moment.
Everyone learns differently, and these kiddos really appreciate the little things that help them do their best everyday. Some people need glasses to see clearly, some people need hearing aids to listen, and some people need wheelchairs. Whatever my students needs are, I want to make sure that they have what they need in their environment to get what they need in their learning.
