Having these materials for students will start them off the school year adequately. They will be using these materials daily to store their materials and transfer items from home to school and back. These items will also support students in their skills of being responsible and organized. Having personal items will also increase students' excitement and motivation to learn and explore.
Due to social distancing still in effect, students will need to continue practicing keeping their items to themselves and safe.
Providing these materials to students will allow them and especially their families to not have to worry about budgeting funds to buy these items. Students can focus on learning and discovering while their families can also focus on supporting their learning.
