The students at our school are 98% Hispanic and 93% under-privileged receiving free and reduced lunch services. They are English language learners and special education students together in the same classroom. Our students are a mix different styled learners who need stimulation and alternatives to the traditional textbook. Most of our students are technologically restricted because of their lack of finances. I believe that if our students had the financial ability to receive equitable learning opportunities, they would be capable of attaining science outcomes comparable to their mainstream peers. I'm always looking for innovative ways to engage my students. I also try to find novel ways to incorporate technology in the classroom and into my lessons.
