If my classroom had four Chromebooks, the students would use them daily. We go to literacy and math stations every day in our classroom. I work with one small group of students at a time to teach literacy/ math skills. While I am working with small groups, a small group of students could continue learning math and literacy skills independently with the chrome books. My classroom is very diverse; each student has a different need. Research has proven that today's students learn best in small groups, more specifically; at the teacher's table. The Chromebook station will allow me to further structure my classroom in a way that addresses individual student needs in a small group setting, allowing each child to be productive in reaching their potential for learning.
