I am privileged to teach in a dual-language Kindergarten classroom where students take pride in becoming bilingual, biliterate and bicultural. My classroom is comprised of 20 students who attend full day kindergarten. They are typical five and six year old adorable, bright children who are eager to come to school and learn.
Our school is a Title 1 school where 100 percent of our students receive free or reduced lunch. My students come from varying levels of learning and experiences. It is each student's unique level and experience that is used as a starting point to promote their academic, social and emotional growth.
