Our school is a Title 1 school. More than 95% of students qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch. The students in my classroom are High Achievers and many have been identified as Gifted and Talented. They are proficient readers and love mathematics and science. My students are predominately African- American and Latino. As Standard English Learners our goals are to enrich our vocabulary, deepen our comprehension, and improve our academic writing and speaking.
