All students benefit from creating art but it has been especially important during this pandemic. Art helps students to express themselves and process what is going on around them. Creating art has served as a source of comfort and a way to relieve the stress from the constant disruptions and hardships due to COVID-19.
With more art supplies my students will be able to make more meaningful and personal works of art. Painting and working with clay are by far my student's favorite activities, but supplies are limited and go quickly. This project will allow my students to paint more and create larger clay sculptures.
