I teach 17 kindergarten children in a high-poverty area of New Mexico. Our school is Title I, and our student population receives 100% free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students are English Language Learners. Our school focuses on collaboration and learning amongst the students by using Kagan structures. My students are bright and love to learn new things that will keep them engaged in their learning. They are excited to work with new tools to help them explore through hands on experiences and through play. I'm excited to help them grow to their fullest!
