Our preschoolers go outside every day and love to play in the sandbox but sometimes, they get too hot. The sandbox canopy will provide shade for our little curious preschoolers to keep them from getting hot.
While playing in the sandbox our preschoolers are developing fine and gross motor skills. They are also developing math skills through measuring, comparing sizes, and building.
The social skills the children will be developing include: negotiating skills, turn taking skills, and imaginative play.
This project will make a difference in our children's learning because they do not always have the opportunity to go to playgrounds or parks in their community.
