I would like to provide my students with a technology station in my classroom powered by Apple’s Mac desktop and iPad Pro. Students would be able to complete small group assignments and presentations, Algebra projects, station learning, online skill-building, and test prep.
Imagine students using the Mac desktop to produce hip-hop songs about completing the square to solve quadratic equations or to create presentations explaining why they would rather be paid using an exponential function than a linear function. Imagine students using the iPad Pro to lead small group discussions on the difference between explaining and justifying algebraic reasoning. This technology station would provide such opportunities and so much more as I prepare my students for the digital world.
