A significant number of my students come from low-income households. Some of them carry with them unimaginable burdens and life experiences for children of their age. While I cannot control all aspects of their lives, I know that I can positively impact their experience at school. I need your help to make that possible! Many of my students love to read. We recently had a competition with another grade level to see which class could read the most books in a month. When it was announced over the intercom that our class won, all of the classrooms erupted with cheers and celebration. Unfortunately, I also have students who struggle to read and do not enjoy reading very much. I want to be able to support both of those groups of students. The projects I create will all seek to improve the educational experiences of my students, and many of them will be literacy-based. I hope you will consider helping us out!
