With our young learners we use visuals to support their language development and early literacy skills. Visuals to illustrate vocabulary words and new concepts help support various learning styles. We support students social and emotional development by having pictures of them and their families displayed around the classroom. We also create class books to help children feel connected and a part of the classroom community. At this time we do not have access to a color printer in our school to print the resources to meet our students needs. These materials will help us to create a rich classroom environment where all students feel welcome and are able to participate in lessons.
