Students with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopment conditions are often very sensitive to florescent lighting. Students in my classroom come to school ready to work but are not always able to reach their full potential due to sensory issues exacerbated by the lighting in my classroom. Florescent light covers will soften the lighting, eliminate harsh glare, and improve focus for my students. By creating a soothing and calm environment in my classroom, my students will be able to participate fully in the functional experiences that I provide. This will enable them to meet their transition goals and realize their dreams.
