Many of my students qualify for free/reduced lunch and come from a myriad of cultures from around the world. My school is a STEM high school but lack the equipment and means necessary to carry out truly STEM projects. My students are considered "at risk" because without the unique projects I want to perform with them their interest in science wouldn't be as high.
