We are a community of 26 learners, 25 students and one teacher. The best part of our school is that our students remain with their teacher for two years. I teach the same students for both 3rd grade and then the next year 4th grade.
Our classroom has flexible sitting, we ask guests to tell us their favorite song so we can tell Alexia to play it while we dance, and we eat lunch together everyday in our room.
We love poetry, writing stories, playing math games and using a variety of strategies to solve problems. One of our favorite times of the week is going to our little buddies class to read books and work on projects.
