My scholars need to be able to learn and use newer technology that they will use throughout their school career. Being a IT labeled school and not having the resources it not acceptable for these scholars. With the use of these calculators that are all the same type, I know that the students will be able to be better prepared for tests from the OST to entrance exams for high school. The scholars will also be able to not just use it in Math but also in Science, These calculators will allow the scholars to input data and be able see the final graph which then they can use to create and display on their science fair project poster board. The Calculators along with the teacher cable will allow me to spend more time teaching the scholars. Right now with the scholars using four different calculators when it comes to teaching algebra I have to take away from instructional time to assist multiple scholars on how to or where to hit certain buttons. This Project will allow the scholars to keep a constant pace in the classroom.
