My school is made up of a 95% Latino population. Many students are 1st generation immigrants, while others have grown up for generations in this community. Many of the students come from working class families and a majority of students do not have access to digital equipment at home. The students are very hard working and enjoy challenging projects that ask them to go out into the community to learn. The art students are particularly interested in projects that ask them to tell their personal stories.
