Our students are hardworking, intelligent and well rounded. We have worked very hard to get them to the level that they are at now. We are a Title One school which means our school population is above 85% approved for free/reduced lunches. While we serve many "regular education" students, a large percentage of our students are also in the Exceptional Student Education program. We are affiliated with a Florida therapeutic home for children whose parents have lost their parental rights because of child abuse and neglect. The children live at the therapeutic home while their family issues are being resolved, and many of them have also been in and out of several other foster homes. Our school also serves a large number of students with Autism, students with behavioral disabilities and students with Specific Learning Disabilities. As you can see, there are many obstacles that our students face. We would like to use all our resources to make our student's school experience great.
