My students are Transitional Kindergarten children who attend public school in California. Our school has been designated as a Title One school. This designation is based on the socioeconomic income of our families. Our school population is about 750 students with grades kindergarten through sixth.
I have twenty-three students in my classroom. They are a very diverse, ethnic group of children. There are 12 girls and 11 boys in my class.
My students are wonderful and very hard working. They always put forth their best effort and are really showing growth. TK is such an amazing year because it is their very first school experience and their is so much growth. It is so exciting!
