I teach in a Title 1 fifth grade classroom with 31 eager to learn students. These students that come from a low income household, many of which don't have much exposure to technology, books, or everyday essentials. Most of these students come in below grade level. I am trying to push them to become on grade level by the end of the year. Our school is a Title 1 school which means that 70% of our students are on free or reduced lunch. The students are given breakfast in the classroom in the morning because many students do not have breakfast at home.
