My students are conquerors and achievers. Each day they have to rise up and seek to overcome face adversity. Some of my students come from backgrounds where education is not highly valued and "basic" school supplies are a burden. Approximately 70% of our student population is on free or reduced lunch, but despite their economic disadvantage my students strive to rise above their present circumstances by obtaining an education. Most dream of going to college and it's my job to help them achieve that dream. About my class
