My goal is to create a place where my students can feel safe, comfortable, and fall in love with books. We know that when we are comfortable we are better able to focus on what we are doing. I am seeking a rug, some bean bag chairs, and some lap desks, to provide my students an alternative to traditional classroom desks, as well as to make my room a place where students want to be. My new room is all white with tile floors and no window, so it is a sterile environment. These items will help make my room an inviting place and go a long way towards reaching my goal. With 180 feet students coming through my room on a daily basis, these items will be well used. It is important that they be sturdy and easy to clean, therefore I have chosen items that have strong, positive reviews, while also being reasonably priced. Please help me make this goal a reality for my students.
