I teach a joyful and energetic group of 20 first-grade students who are learning to become confident readers, curious thinkers, and kind classmates. Every day, they are building their reading skills, discovering new ideas through social studies books, solving real-world math problems, and exploring the wonders of science. Many of my students are still developing foundational skills and benefit from hands-on materials, engaging books, and meaningful learning experiences that help them connect what they’re learning to the world around them. They light up when they see a new book, solve a tricky problem, or make a science discovery! These amazing kids are eager to learn and grow—and with the right tools and resources, there’s no limit to what they can do.

About my class
