I am a 3rd teacher of Gifted and Talented students from mostly economically disadvantaged families where English is not their first language. Poor children, minority children, and poor minority children are underrepresented in gifted programs. However, my students are from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds. Many of our school's monetary resources are spent on struggling students. I would like to give these students the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
About my class
