My young scholars are 5th graders and we are a self-contained class. We interact and support each other as a family in order to grow in all areas. This is a big time of transition in their lives and they experience a plethora of physical, mental, and emotional challenges. Can you imagine or remember having to cope with economic hardships at home, increased responsibility, peer pressure and puberty all at the same time? It's tough, but my students are strong, resilient, and eager to learn.
