Our school has over 800 students 64% of which are on the free or reduced lunch program. Many do not have books of their own and depend on the school library for reading material. I want to get our junior high students excited about reading but the library is more than just books - we provide an alternative classroom and study area for students. Our library is moving into the future by helping students with Science and Technology, as well as, personal growth. Limited only by our imaginations, we are starting a journey that will encompass the whole student not just the academic brain.
