These new books are a mix of classics and new books to help diversify my reading library in my class. Independent reading is important for the personal growth of each student as a reader and a learner. I will be focusing on allowing my students to choose which books they read and allow them more time to read in class. Out of class, most of my students, have busy home lives and do not always have access to great books to read. I want to upgrade my library for them.
