Transforming our Classroom for 21st Century Learners! My project this year is to redesign our classroom to provide more opportunities for students to move around and collaborate throughout the day. We are working towards designing our classroom to promote 21st century learners. Within this design we are hoping to include five stand-up desks, tables of varying heights, stools, sitting balls, bean bags, shelving units, caddies for supplies, and a carpet to gather as a group. This design will help promote collaboration and allow students to move more throughout their day. Studies show that allowing students to move more throughout the day increases their focus. Please consider making a donation so that the students of A-5 will have the opportunity to stand and work, increase their ability to focus, and have a learning environment they will thrive in! We are excited to get this project underway!
