My name is Deshaun Harris and I am currently a 5th-grade math teacher at Red STEM Magnet School located in Houston Independent School District. Also, I attend Sam Houston State University, obtaining my master's degree in Instructional Leadership with a minor in Curriculum & Instruction. Education is deeply rooted in my family tradition. My goal as a teacher is to prepare students to become productive citizens. My passion for teaching can be seen in my students as they demonstrate dedication, perseverance, and skill every day. I strive to prepare my students to become 21st leaders in their aspiring careers. I hope that my positive influence creates a lasting impression is the heart of my students as they matriculate through elementary and beyond.
