My students are all thirsty for knowledge, 21st century skills and technology. My diverse students are African American, Latino, Asian and Caucasian, and even though I am a English/Language Arts teacher, we cross curriculum lines daily to tie reading in with other subject areas, current events, and projects to provide realistic learning. Technology, structured lessons, and collaborative learning help drive higher order thinking and creation in my classroom. Students are the integral part of determining their coursework to drive them to success. Student voice, student choice.
